There was a heightened tension earlier at the INEC Headquarters today in Abuja as some Leaders of the Labour Party loyal to its Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi were denied access into the office.

It was gathered that Labour Party Leaders including, Mr Peter Obi, Gov Otti, and many others were at INEC National Office to submit CTC of supreme Court Judgement to INEC chairman, demanding the immediate removal of Julius Abure’s name and others for replacement with senator Esther Nenadi Usman and Senator Darlington Nwokocha As National Chairman and Secretary.

The Leaders after a long wait outside amidst serious agitations were later allowed in, after which Gov Otti addressed the INEC Team.

This is part of the ongoing intensed crises rocking the Labour Party.
