Under his management, Kerr, led the club through the relegation play-offs as they finished 15th with only four wins in 30 matches.

As they are placed Swallows are currently in 14th on the DStv Premiership log with two wins from eight games, pressure is mounting on the management to secure a seasoned coach to guide the club from relegation.

One of the oldest clubs in the South African elite division, Swallows have to ensure they avoid playing in the play-offs this season and will have to fine-tune their strategy during the ongoing FIFA International break.

Meanwhile, the club follows trigger-happy Chippa United who axed Daine Klate following their 1-0 loss to defending league champions, Mamelodi Sundowns about a fortnight ago.

On the other hand, Marumo Gallants have announced the return of Dan Malesela on Tuesday, ‘Dance’ dramatically dumped Shauwn Mkhize’s Royal AM after joining them in July.
