Entertainment SA has gathered that there is a new cast member for Uzalo on SABC1 following the inclusion of former Gomora actor, Buyile Mdladla.

Mdladla joins the telenovela as a character to replace the late Mncedisi Shabangu who was set to be roped in but he sadly passed away last month.

A daily publication reports that the former Kaya 959 radio jock has confirmed the development but declined to give more details.

It is reported that Mdladla was spotted on set and didn’t hesitate to give confirmation and that he is expected to fill a massive role.

Sunday World has it that the seasoned actor’s arrival will see Nkunzi’s (Masoja Msiza) feathers ruffled as Gabisile, who is played by Baby Cele, will cheat on him with the new recruit.

This will be the second time Gabisile cheats on Nkunzi having previously dated his brother Qhabanga behind his back.

“Yes I can confirm [that I have joined Uzalo] but I am not allowed to comment further,” confirmed Mdladla.

Prior to his arrival at Uzalo, the former Generations actor played Phumlani Ndaba in Mzansi Magic’s telenovela Gomora.

Meanwhile, the same publication reports that Nomcebo Gumede, known for her troublesome character Mumsy on SABC1 telenovela Uzalo, has secured a role on e.tv’s Imbewu: The Seed.

The stunning thespian has also starred in Mzansi Magic’s drama series Ifalakhe, where she played the role of Chamai The Warrior, the only daughter of Nandoro and the apple of his eye.

In her new role on Imbewu: The Seed, Gumede has been cast as a new lawyer in town. Mandisa Vilakazi is a criminal law consultant.

Looking at previous posts, this website posted that Msiza released his maiden song and that Kuzodlula is no different; it is a kind of a Gospel song that gives people hope about their problems, saying they will also pass.

Msiza sounds like God himself is speaking through him in the song. There is a calmness to his spoken word. You have to listen to it for yourself to understand.
